State Police have canceled the Amber Alert for a 9-year-old boy from Long Island who police said was abducted Friday.
It was canceled less than an hour after it was issued by State Police. The child, who has autism, was apparently abducted after the suspect, Robert Rodriguez, learned he was wanted in a police investigation into a homicide.
Rodriguez and the boy were located in Upper Brookville.
No further information was available.
