Video Shows Suspect Before Shooting Brooklyn Boy, 9

Police on Sunday released video that they hope will lead to the capture of a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a 9-year-old boy who was struck in the leg while riding his bike in Brooklyn Friday night.

A person in a white BMW fired into a crowd of people near the corner of East 45th and Church Avenue in Flatbush, striking the boy as he tried to flee.

The boy managed to ride his bike back to his house after he was shot. He was taken to Kings County Hospital and is expected to be OK.

Cops pursued the BMW, but it wasn't clear if they caught the car or the person or people responsible for the incident.

In the video, the suspect was caught on video fleeing on Church Avenue while firing a weapon in the direction of East 45th Street.
