A 7-year-old girl was struck and killed by the driver of a vehicle in a Brooklyn neighborhood on Monday, police said.
Emergency responders arrived to the Bath Beach neighborhood around 4 p.m. for reports of a 7-year-old struck by a vehicle.
The young girl was rushed to a nearby Brooklyn hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
