The 7 train won’t run through Manhattan and parts of Queens for two weekends in November starting this Friday.
There will be no trains on the 7 line between Queensboro Plaza and Hudson Yards between Nov. 6 and 9, and again between Nov. 13 and 16.
Trains will stop running late Friday night and will resume service early Monday morning.
The service change is scheduled to take effect as the MTA completes three improvement projects on the 7 line: installation of a new signal system, elevated track replacement and infrastructure work, and reconstruction and fortification of the tunnel.
Free buses will be provided as an alternate travel option.
