Weekend 7 Train Service Suspended Until Nov. 19

There will be no 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square for the next five weekends

It's another round of weekend service suspension for 7 train riders in Manhattan and parts of Queens.

There will be no 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square for the next five weekends.

Riders can take free shuttle buses at the affected stations to go to Queensboro Plaza, where they can take the N or Q to get to where they need. Otherwise, they should take the E, F, and N trains servicing Queens.

The MTA says it's all part of infrastructure improvements, and crews will be working on critical track, signals and instrastructure in the Steinway Tunnel, which links Queens and Manhattan.

The suspension will be in place 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday from Oct. 5-8, Oct. 19-22, Oct. 26-29, Nov. 9-12, and Nov. 16-19.

It will also be in place 11:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Last summer, 7 train riders faced similar weekend suspensions.
