Service on the 7 line was hampered for several hours Thursday afternoon due to a rail condition, MTA officials say.
Service was suspended between Manhattan and Queens at about 2 p.m., according to the MTA. Trains got running again at about 3 p.m., but commuters had to battle transfers and delays as the authority broke the line into multiple sections.
Full service resumed at about 5 p.m., according to authorities.
Residual delays should be expected.
