7 Hurt in Jersey City Blaze

Seven people were hurt and one person was critically injured when a massive fire broke out in Jersey City this morning.

Paramedics had to perform CPS on one of the victims, a woman in her late 50s. She was revived on the street before being taken to Jersey City Medical Center.

The other victims, ranging from children to adults, suffered only minor injuries. They were all taken to Jersey City Medical Center.

One woman was found dead in the building, but authorities say it had nothing to do with the fire. Officials found her on the second floor and said she had been dead for some time. It wasn't immediately clear how she died.

The fire started on the first floor of the four-story building in Jersey City. Officials got it contained early this morning, but the cause has yet to be determined. At this point, it's not being deemed suspicious.
