A second alarm fire erupted in a Midtown senior center on Thursday afternoon, leaving at least four people injured, one critically.
The blaze broke out on inisde the 20 story building on 8th Avenue and 51st Street around 4 p.m., fire officials said. The fire was quickly brought under control.
It is unclear what started the blaze.
The FDNY said traffic in the area has been effected and there are significant delays.
