4 hurt in 6-Vehicle Crash on New Jersey Turnpike

State police say a six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike did not cause any serious injuries. 

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. 

The crash occurred shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes near milepost 54.5 in Bordentown Township. 

Four people were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries and were later released. Further details on their injuries were not disclosed. 

Authorities initially closed all the southbound lanes between exits 7 and 7A while the crash was being investigated.

All lanes were eventually reopened by 8 a.m.
