4 Wounded in NJ Garage Shooting

Four men waiting to get their vehicles serviced at a northern New Jersey oil change business were wounded when a gunman opened fire Saturday afternoon.

None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, said Sgt. Ronald Glover, a Newark police spokesman. But a motive for the shooting was not known.

Two victims were shot in the leg, while one was grazed in the head and the other was hit in the armpit. All were treated at University Hospital in Newark, but further details on their condition were not immediately disclosed.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the Zap Lube station, and the gunman fled in a vehicle driven by another person. And while several shots were fired, it was not clear what type of weapon the gunman used.
