A man is dead and three others are injured after assailants sprayed gunfire onto a New Jersey street, authorities said.
Deam Marcano, 20, was declared dead after the shooting Saturday night in Plainfield. Three others were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.
More than a dozen shots were fired in the area of West Third Street and Mansdon Place at around 9 p.m., shortly after a group of men reportedly got out of a vehicle, the prosecutor's office said.
Authorities were investigating.
