Four people were injured, two seriously, when their car hit a firetruck rushing to a fire Sunday in Brooklyn, police said.
The car flipped onto its side after the 12:30 p.m. collision at the intersection of New York and Snyder avenue, investigators said.
The firetruck was heading to a residential fire and its lights and sirens were operating, police said. The firetruck drove through a green traffic signal when it hit the car, police said.
The occupants of the car were taken to Kings County Hospital. Two were said to be in serious condition.
No firefighters were injured and no charges have been filed.
