A Florida spices company is recalling 377,000 pounds of curry powder because the seasonings are contaminated with lead.
The Food and Drug Administration said 15 different kinds of powder seasonings from Oriental Packing Co. Inc. were included in the recall. They were distributed in New York and Florida.
The New York State Health Dept. found the lead during routine sampling, the FDA noted.
The affected spices are:

- Blue Mountain Country Hot Jamaican Jerk Curry Seasoning
- Jamaica Choice Brand
- Jamaica Choice Mild
- Jamaica Hot Curry Powder
- Ocho Rios Brand
- Ocho-Rios Jamaican Nice Mild Curry Powder
- Ocho Rios Spicy Curry Powder
- Ocho Rios Jerk Curry Seasoning Mild
- Ocho Rios Jerk Curry Seasoning Spicy
- Oriental Brand
- Oriental Mild Curry Powder
- Oriental Hot Curry Powder
- Grace Brand
