A 3-month-old baby has died in the Bronx, police say.
The boy's mother was sleeping with him Saturday when she woke up and found him unresponsive, police said.
The infant, Mark Ruane, was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
It's not yet clear how the baby died. The investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Administration for Children's Services said the agency was involved with police in the investigation, but couldn't comment further due to confidentiality laws.
