Three people were wounded during a shooting in New Jersey's largest city, authorities say.
Shots rang out around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of Fleming Avenue and Richards Street, Newark police said.
The three victims were taken to the hospital and were being treated for undisclosed injuries. All three were listed in stable condition, but their names and further information about them were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities say a motive for the shooting is not yet known. They declined further comment, citing the ongoing investigation.
