A trio of armed men stormed a Harlem apartment, pistol-whipped the resident in the head and fled with cellphones, electronics and clothing, police say.
Surveillance video captured the robbers entering the building on Saint Nicholas Avenue at about 1 a.m. Thursday. Police say the suspects knocked on the door of a 28-year-old man's apartment, forced their way in when he answered, and then hit the man in the head.
The robbers then took the man's property and ran away, police said.
The victim was treated at St. Luke's Hospital for a cut to the head.
