3-Alarm NJ Fire Displaces 10, Injures 1

A three-alarm fire in New Jersey Thursday night injured one firefighter and left 10 people displaced, authorities said.

The fire spread through the second and third floors of a three-story building on Lafayette Avenue in Passaic.

Officials said one firefighter suffered minor injuries.

Ten residents were left displaced by the fire. Authorities said they were taken to a nearby senior center.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
