Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze in a building in Flushing, just east of Citi Field early Friday evening.
The fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. in a two-story commercial building on 34th Avenue, fire officials said.
Chopper video from the scene shows that the blaze was raging in a building that housed a number of businesses, including the Dugout Grill, a sports bar.
It is unclear what caused the blaze. Some 130 firefighters reported to the scene and finally got the blaze under control by about 7:15 p.m. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The Mets are playing their season opener on Friday night, but it is an away game in Florida against the Marlins.
