2 Men Zip-Tie Sprint Employees, Take Off With Hundreds of Electronics: NYPD

Police are looking for two people who walked into a Sprint Store in the Bronx, tied up three employees using zip ties and took off with a safe full of electronics, authorities say.

On Sunday shortly before 8 p.m., two men forced three workers to the back of the store in Baychester at gunpoint, according to the NYPD.

The duo forced the employees to open up a safe that had electronics inside, police said. The pair took everything inside the safe and then tied up the three employees up and left the store, officials said.

The suspects got away with more than 280 electronics ranging from iPhones, iPads and smart watches, according to the NYPD.

One of the suspects is described as being about 35 years old and the second appears to be in his late 20s, police said.

Surveillance video shows the two men, one of whom is wearing dark glasses.
