2 Men Killed in Separate Shootings in NYC: Police

Two men were killed in separate shootings in Queens and the Bronx, police said Saturday. 

Both men were shot to death late Friday. 

Joshua Lopez, 24, of the Bronx, was found on East Tremont Avenue with a gunshot wound to the torso, police said. He was pronounced dead at Jacobi Hospital. 

In Queens, a 30-year-old man was found on 175th Street with a gunshot wound to his chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital. 

His identity was withheld until his family had been notified. 

No one had been arrested in either shooting, police said. The investigations were ongoing.
