2 Knife-Wielding Suspects Sought in Manhattan Robberies: NYPD

Police are looking for two young men, possibly teenagers, who are wanted in connection with two robberies at knife-point in Manhattan earlier this week.

Investigators released photos of the two suspects, both or whom are between the ages of 16 and 20.

The pair are wanted for questioning about a robbery that occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, when a 17-year-old boy was approached by two men wielding a knife. He was pushed to the ground and kicked. The suspects made off with the victim's wallet containing $150.

The robbery happened near East Drive and Transverse Road Number Two in Central Park.

They are also wanted in connection with the robbery of a 73-year-old man about an hour later in the vicinity of 2nd Avenue and East 81st Street. The pair stole the victim's cellphone and $200.
