2 Arrested In Connection With Stealing Cars on Long Island

A 20-year-old man and a teen were arrested in connection with burglarizing homes and stealing cars throughout Nassau County, police said.

Jordan Jackson, 20, of Uniondale, entered a home on Richmond Road in East Meadow on June 8 to steal the keys of a 2006 Audi A4, then stole the car, detectives said.

On June 11, he broke into a home at Fenimore Place in Baldwin to steal the keys of a 2004 Honda Pilot, then stole the car, detectives said.

On June 16, he broke into a home on Clinton Avenue in Uniondale to steal the keys of a 2008 Nissan Versa, then stole the car, detectives said.

Jackson and Tayawon Anderson, 19, of Hempstead, were found on West Roosevelt Avenue, Uniondale inside the stolen 2008 Nissan Versa and were arrested, detectives said.

Jackson is charged with burglary, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. 

Anderson is charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

They will be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
