2 Men Wanted for Attacking Teen With Baseball Bat in the Bronx

In a surveillance video released by police the men are seen attacking the teen with a bat

Police are seeking two men who assaulted a 17-year-old boy with a baseball bat in the Bronx.

Authorities released surveillance video that shows the two men chasing the teen through the street and then attacking him in front of a gas station along the Cross Bronx Expressway in Parkchester.

The men are seen punching, kicking and striking the boy with the bat numerous times before fleeing.

An employee at the gas station who covers the late night shift is worried that such a violent attack could happen there, much less in broad daylight.

"I feel like I'm in danger," said Flor Tenao.

Edward Polanco, a regular customer at the station, hopes police catch the assailants soon.

"It can't continue. They must catch the people that did this," he said.

Both suspects are described as being between 18 and 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. One was last seen wearing a purple shirt with black shorts and a black baseball hat and the other was wearing a light blue shirt and jean shorts.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
