2 Men Charged In NJ Heroin Mill Bust: Authorities

Two men are facing numerous charges after authorities broke up an alleged heroin mill that they say was being run out of a northern New Jersey home.

A 30-year-old Hackensack resident and a 29-year-old Haledon resident had about $333,000 in cash with them when they were arrested Thursday at a Hackensack home, Bergen County prosecutors said.

Another search warrant was executed at a Closter home, where the heroin mill allegedly was based.

Both men are charged with maintaining a drug facility and money laundering, while the 30-year-old also was charged with using another person's personal information. Prosecutors say more arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues.

The 30-year-old's bail was set at $350,000, while the 29-year-old's bail was set at $300,000. It wasn't known Saturday if either man has retained an attorney.
