The state has canceled a missing persons alert for a 15-year-old girl with autism who was said to have vanished in Yonkers.
The cancellation in the case of Kayela Carroll, who was reported missing Wednesday night in Yonkers and may have been in need of medical attention, came shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday.
There was no word on why it was canceled, so it's not clear if she has been found or, if so, in what condition.
