A $10,000 reward is being offered for information about the suspect in the New Year's Day killing of a New York volunteer firefighter, authorities said Monday.
Justin Speights, 20, was stabbed to death at a house party on Paddock Drive in the town of Crawford shortly after midnight on New Year's Eve.
Speights is a graduate of Pine Bush High School and was a member of the Silver Lake Fire Company for 4 years, authorities said.
No arrests have been made in the homicide, police said.
Speights' mother made an emotional plea for help in the investigation at a news conference Monday.
