A girl was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in New Jersey Saturday, authorities said.
The 10-year-old girl was hit by a car after 1:30 p.m. at Tuxedo Parkway and Mount Vernon Place in Newark, authorities said. She was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
