A young man is dead and another is injured after being gunned down early Thursday morning in the Bronx, police said.
Daquan Cooper, 23, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and a second 35-year-old victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to each leg just before 2:30 a.m. on Unionport Road in Parkchester.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene and the second unidentified victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
