A newborn baby girl died in Queens on Saturday, police said.
Anayah-Lynn Howard was just 1 month old, the NYPD said. Someone called 911 saying that she was unconscious and officers arrived at her Cambria Heights home to find her unresponsive with no obvious sign of trauma, police said.
She was pronounced dead at Long Island Jewish Hospital, police said.
Police say someone may have been in the bed with the baby and unintentionally rolled over on top of her.
The baby had a pre-existing medical condition, police said, but the medical examiner will determine her cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
