1 Dead, 3 Injured in Brooklyn Fire: NYPD

Police say one person is dead and three others were injured in a fire Tuesday night in Brooklyn.

The fire broke out around 9:45 p.m. at 103 Hancock Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to the NYPD.

Tyrone Corely, 56, was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The three other victims were taken to nearby hospitals where they were listed in stable condition. A 47-year-old man was treated for smoke inhalation at Interfaith Memorial Hospital and two unidentified women were treated for smoke inhalation at Kings County Hospital.

The cause of the fire wasn’t known.
