Open Wide and Say… Ohmmmm

Study of kids and alternative medicine

Instead of reaching for the medicine cabinet, parents are turning to alternative medicines for their children.

A study by the CDC found that more than one in nine kids uses some form alternative medicine.

Sometimes it's vitamin supplements, but the most popular were fish oil and echinacea.  But they also took their kids to the chiropractor and acupuncturists for a range of conditions from insomnia to body aches.

And meditation was on that list as well.
