We mentioned in our recent West Chelsea megaupdate that design firm Della Valle Bernheimer's crazysexycool 245 Tenth Avenue had started receiving its perforated steel skin along the High Line side of the building. Now, a tipster sends photos of the Tenth Avenue façade, which is also getting slapped with some heavy metal. It's funky as hell, but don't forget that starchitects Jean Nouvel and Annabelle Selldorf are also competing for the big bucks along Eleventh Ave. with some wacky creations of their own. And 245 Tenth also has gas. Still, looking good!
