The Museum of the City of New York, hoping to shake off the stigma of being that place "where little kids go to look at fire engines," is to unveil its new 3,000-square-foot glass annex today, designed by Polshek Partnership for a former vacant lot behind its upper Fifth Avenue location, according to the NYT. If that's not enough reason to venture north of 96th Street, perhaps the exhibit, "New York Fast Forward: Neil Denari Builds on the High Line," open through Sept. 21, will entice you. No word on whether you'll get to see the legal briefs from the HL23-Highline 519 developer fight.
