It's getting exhausting trying to keep up with all these Dick Cheney outbursts.
This week, he's doing two editions of "Hannity." In Part One, he demanded declassification of CIA memos that prove that the "enhanced interrogation techniques" (none dare call it torture) of the Bush administration thwarted terrorist attacks.
He has apparently also requested that other memos be declassified so he can use them for his memoirs. According to Politico, this request dates back to last month -- well before Obama decided to release the torture memos.
Last month, Cheney popped up on CNN to declare that Obama decisions, like closing Guantanamo, were making America less safe.
It's getting way too difficult to keep up with all of the former veep's declarations and denunciations. Not only is he more media-friendly than any recent ex-vice-president, he's more omnipresent than he ever was as VP.
Which is why Cheney needs to take the next logical step. No, no, not reality show! That's for mortals far below his station (yeah, you know who I'm talking about)!
He needs a blog of his own. Were he to be blogging, his would be a must-read site -- from both sides of the aisle. He'd be assured of being linked to from Instapundit, National Review, Daily Kos and Talking Points Memo. None could resist checking in on ole DC.

Plus, hosting a blog would force Cheney to realize how much information out there is actually de-classified. For example, rather than demanding more memos be released to prove that the interrogation methods worked, Cheney might take a page from former Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen's who said in a Washington Post piece that the already released memos prove Cheney's point:
Specifically, interrogation with enhanced techniques "led to the discovery of a KSM plot, the 'Second Wave,' 'to use East Asian operatives to crash a hijacked airliner into' a building in Los Angeles." KSM later acknowledged before a military commission at Guantanamo Bay that the target was the Library Tower, the tallest building on the West Coast. The memo explains that "information obtained from KSM also led to the capture of Riduan bin Isomuddin, better known as Hambali, and the discovery of the Guraba Cell, a 17-member Jemmah Islamiyah cell tasked with executing the 'Second Wave.' " In other words, without enhanced interrogations, there could be a hole in the ground in Los Angeles to match the one in New York.
Of course, the blog's name would be a no-brainer: Undisclosed Location (or Note's From...if the "U.L." is already taken)!
As harsh as a Cheney blog might be on the administration, the Obama-ites might prefer it to the status quo: They wouldn't have to watch Sean Hannity to find out what Dick Cheney is thinking.
