    President Barack Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel will "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

    Top members of President Barack Obama’s national security team headline this Sunday’s talk shows as they try to sell the president's plan to withdraw U.S. combat troops from Iraq within 18 months.

    Defense Secretary Robert Gates, the only Cabinet holdover from the Bush administration, is on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” And Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, does double duty on “Fox News Sunday” and on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

    Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) counter Mullen on Fox, and Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) is also be on CNN.
    Elsewhere, the developing budget battle takes top billing.

    White House Budget Director Peter Orszag headlines ABC’s “This Week,” along with House Minority Whip Eric Cantor of Virginia to offer the Republican view.

    CBS’s “Face the Nation,” meanwhile, lands White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for an inside-the-room account of the White House budget deliberations and other pressing issues.

    After stirring the financial pot last week with his interview of Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), Bloomberg’s Al Hunt sits down on “Political Capital” with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) to get his take on Obama’s plan for Iraq, Afghanistan, the budget – and the nation’s chaotic economy.

    And on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers,” American Bankers Association president and CEO Edward Yingling is interviewed by POLITICO’s Victoria McGrane and Benton Ives of
