Angelina Jolie, on Long Island to film a movie, was taken to the hospital today after getting injured on the set.
Jolie is filming "Salt," in which she plays a CIA officer who goes on the lam after being accused of being a double agent for Russia. She bumped her head, leaving a mark between her eyes, according to TMZ. Her manager said Jolie was performing a stunt when she was hurt, but that the injury is not serious.
Columbia Pictures released a statement after the incident: "This morning while filming an action sequence... Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed."
