A Montgomery County prosecutor says police found a Camp David map with a presidential motorcade route at the home of a teen held on firearms offenses. Montgomery Assistant State's Attorney Peter A. Feeney also said at a court hearing Tuesday that Colin McKenzie-Gude of Bethesda had a document that appears to describe how to kill someone 200 meters away, The Washington Post reports. Eighteen-year-old McKenzie-Gude faces charges of manufacture and possession of a destructive device. His father, Joe Gude, who authorities say bought weapons for his son, is also charged, as is a 17-year-old Gaithersburg youth. Lawyers for both teenagers say their clients had no plans to hurt anyone. District Judge J. Michael Conroy Jr. reduced McKenzie-Gude's bond from $1 million to $750,000. McKenzie-Gude graduated last spring from St. John's College High in Maryland, where he was a member of the school's rifle team. Friends and neighbors are quoted in The Washington Post saying that the teen was an eager student who was mature for his age. A relative of the 17-year-old boy who was also arrested in connection with the case described McKenzie-Gude as mature for his age. "It's like he was a little adult," Ludmila S. Yevsukov said. "He is not a kid at all. He is completely full-formed." Video of McKenzie-Gude's weapons cache was released by the Montgomery County Bomb Squad.
