Sarah Palin's Former Life as a Sportscaster

Welcome Kindness With Come From Away
Sarah Palin working as a sportscaster in 1988.

There are just so many facets to the life of GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin: wife, mother of five, soon-to-be grandmother, creationist, gun rights advocate, pro-life warrior, standout basketball player, governor, hunter, and sportscaster to just name a few.  In the above clip, we see Palin, then known as Sarah Heath, working as a sportscaster at WKTVV in Anchorage in 1988.

It's a little trip back in time -- complete with mullets, Mets highlights, and old-school graphics -- that illuminates another chapter in the life of a woman who may one day be a heartbeat from the presidency.
