A small earthquake shook Bergen County, New Jersey early Friday afternoon.
According to the USGS, a magnitude 2.4 earthquake struck near Paramus just after 1 p.m. Friday. The quake was at a depth of 4.78 miles.
On the USGS website, residents reported "weak" to "light" shaking across northern New Jersey.
There were no initial reports of any damage from the earthquake.
