The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2018. The list includes film and TV stars, recording artists, a billionaire English businessman and a mouse.
Dates of the star ceremonies -- about 20 to 30 per year -- are usually announced about a week in advance. A Walk of Fame Selection Committee chooses nominees from hundreds of applications each year, which carry a $30,000 fee. Half of the application fee goes to the ceremony, the other half is for maintenance and repairs.
"The Committee looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world," said Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona, the chair of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee for 2017.
So, without further ado, here is your Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2018. Up next? A ceremony for actress Lynda Carter, star of the original "Wonder Woman," is scheduled for Tuesday April 3, 2018.
