It’s called “liquid gold” for a reason, people, and Chelsea Wine Vault’s David Hunter and Vladimir Garcia will demonstrate why with tonight's two-hour taste-a-thon 101 about taking tequila seriously (as opposed to with a plastic monkey dangling off the side of your glass -- not that there's anything wrong with that, or with getting a tattoo afterwards).
You’ll sip modern and traditional brews, distinguish the color spectrum, learn about añejos, silvers and reposados. And because it would be irresponsible to get borracho on an empty stomach, there will be hors d’oeuvre pairings served.
