Helmed by Molly Yestadt and Jane Pincus, Yestadt Millinery has strived to bring modern, luxe touches to classic hat shapes and fabrics: a bit of netting here, a touch of lace there, and also quirky, fun buttons and details.

Speaking of lace, the ladies order it from Sophie Hallette, known as the "Willy Wonka" of lace makers, which traces its roots back to 1887. Hallette created the lace used in wedding gowns for Kate Moss, Lilly Allen, and yes, even the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Here, a hat finished with luxe pastel lace flowers, beaded buttons and netting.

Two woven Panama hats and a sporty cap with polka dots from the spring collection. The baseball cap trend, brought on in part by Yestadt, will continue into spring with more pony-hair brimmed options, as well as colorful versions in linen and chambray with raffia embroidery.

Molly's love for quirky details shows in this tiny wooden Elroy Jetson-y button on a magenta-striped straw hat.

Finished with a ribbon, the hat is also available in a pretty lilac stripe. The colors speak to the influence of Warhol's colorful cats, which were printed in his limited-edition artist book "25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy."

This hat with woven chevron detail, dainty bow and asymmetrical brim is sure to be a go-to choice for warm weather. Similar hats in the spring collection have decorative overhanging linings to appear as if a scarf is peeking out from the edges.

Another quirky selection was this royal blue woven hat with bows, sequined flowers, tiny pearls and a lucky lady bug button.
