What You're Doing Tonight, 7/16

An all-Bard film fest, second helpings of ‘Food, Inc.,’ and mojitos + cigars give Times Square a Havanese flair

STOGIE: You may be caught in the clogged artery of Times Square, but tonight, until 8:30PM, conjure a sultry Cuban night at Havana Central. Each 10 Cane rum mojito gets you a hand-rolled Dominican cigar, and the live salsa band can’t hurt, either. 5:30-8:30PM at Havana Central, 151 West 46th Street; 212-398-7440.

UNHAPPY MEAL: You might want to eat before heading to tonight’s Chipotle-sponsored screening of Robert Kenner’s must-see 'Food, Inc.' at the Beekman Theatre – after he’s lifted the veil on exactly how certain foodstuffs wind upon your plate, you might find yourself without an appetite. 7:30PM.

THOU SWELL: Franco Zeffirelli's 1968 award magnet ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey, screens as part of the Walter Reade’s new series The Bard Goes Global: Shakespeare on the International Screen (through July 26). Swoon to the tragic love story, sway to Nino Rota’s now-ubiquitous ‘Love Theme,’ marvel at the fact that in 1968, a 15-year-old actress (Hussey) could do a nude scene without causing much fuss.
