What You're Doing Tonight, 4/9

Marilyn skirts the issue, Jeff Beck shreds, and Sophie Calle turns heartbreak into gold

UNFATAL ATTRACTION: Marilyn Monroe wants to lure (someone else's) faithful hubby Tom Ewell into infidelity while his family's out of town. So she stands on a vent in a white dress. Hilarity ensues. See The Seven-Year Itch (1955) as part of the Clearview Chelsea Classics series, 7 and 9:30PM.

COMMENT VOUS DITES 'BASTARD'? When her good-for-nothing S.O. broke up with her in an email, French artist Sophie Calle did the only thing she could: make art out of it. So she asked 107 women to analyze the email, and the results make for a heartrending (creepy?) exhibit opening today at the Paula Cooper Gallery. 10AM- 6PM Tues-Sat through 5/22.

BECK'S BACK: They don't really make 'em like rock-blues guitarist Jeff Beck anymore. Less showboaty than Santana, not as high as Hendrix, and the man about whom Eric Clapton once said, "With Jeff, it's all in his hands." Fillmore at Irving Plaza, 7PM.
