What You're Doing Tonight: 12/1

Bowie revisited, can-do for City Harvest, and a (RED) bash for music junkies

ZIGGY POP: David Bowie: Music maverick, sartorial rogue, third-nipple haver… everything that made the man's heyday what it was is on parade at MoMA tonight as Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore presents an evening of early music videos by David Bowie. Watch and learn, kids.

YES WE CAN: You don't see this every day: In a stunt to benefit City Harvest, 40-odd architects and engineers will be building giant sculptures - animals, cartoon characters, you name it -- out of cans of food that will then get shipped off to feed the hungry. Check out Canstruction at the World Financial Center Plaza's Winter Garden and Courtyard Gallery Monday and Tuesday, 7AM-11PM.

SEEING (RED): Still deciding which online music subscription service to sign up for? How about the one that saves lives in Africa? (RED)WIRE, a program that gives you access to exclusive music for a fiver a month, launches today with a big W Hotel shindig featuring new tunes from the likes of John Legend, kiosks where you can try out the service, and did we mention $1 cocktails? 5:30-8PM.
