Dave Matthews Band at the Izod, Jay McInerney's new tome, and Muxtape's creator talks about the site's future

DMB & DMBR: After rocking the Garden last night with The Roots, Dave Matthews Band will hold court at East Rutherford's Izod Center, plugging their new disc Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King and joined by old-school soul growler Eli "Paperboy" Reed, who opens. 7PM.

JAYDED: It's been a few years since Jay McInerney had a hit as big as his Bright Lights, Big City, but -- as his new collection of short stories How It Ended demonstrates -- no-one does hyperintelligent disaffection better. Catch him reading and signing at the Tribeca Barnes & Noble, 7PM.

MUX WELL: Justin Ouellette, the founder of internet music sensation-turned-copyright nightmare Muxtape, will be at the Apple Store in Soho talking about his all new version of Muxtape.com, otherwise known as the Muxtape that won't make people sue him. 6:30PM.
