7,999 PEOPLE & YOU: The 30th Annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival descends on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (say that 10 times fast) with performances, martial arts demos, regional food tastings and plenty of other goodies. About 8,000 attendees are expected at this spring fest -- so get there early. Sun., 12-6PM.
PETE'S SAKE: Take note, folks: Adopt a hippie diet of nuts, sprouts, activism and folk ditties, and you too could live to be 90 like Pete Seeger. Whether you'll celebrate with a party at the Garden attended by dozens of music bigwigs -- from Springsteen to Vedder to Emmylou Harris -- is a different story. DARK NIGHT: Any musician not at MSG Sunday night helping Seeger blow out his candles can be found at Radio City, where a staggering who's who of indie names (Feist, Bon Iver, David Byrne, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings and more) convene for the Dark Was the Night Live concert to benefit the Red Hot Organization, an international charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for HIV and AIDS.
