After the frenzy of the opening bell, a strange calm has apparently descended on the new Brooklyn Trader Joe's. "Manhattanites should be very, very jealous of South Brooklyn residents right now. Not only is their Trader Joe's all shiny and new, it's spacious too. The store feels downright suburban." And, the "decidedly calm atmosphere...in no way resembles the shopping experience we've come to know from the 14th Street store." Take that, Manhattan. Until tomorrow, at least.
