What Fashion Designers Will Be Watching at the London Games

With the Opening Ceremony just a few short hours away, Olympic buzz has reached a fever pitch. And even though most designers are toiling away on their spring '13 collections (Fashion Week, after all, kicks off in five weeks), they're not immune to getting into the Olympic spirit. Here, some of our favorite fashion folks weigh in on the athletes and events they'll be cheering on.

Asia Ragland, Feliks & Adrik: "I'm a sucker for the gymnastics events, but I do have a newfound interest in the 5,000m race sparked by a biography I am currently reading about Louis Zamperini."

Laura Lombardi: "I'm looking forward to watching men's soccer. Partially for the sport, mostly for the babes."

Kelly Reid, Reid.damnit: "I'm most excited to see the Spice Girls perform at the Closing Ceremony. I mean, obviously!"

Nina Egli, Toujours Toi and Family Affairs: "I'm excited to watch Roger Federer play. He is brilliant, fast and down to earth...and he is Swiss, like me."

Jamie Lyn, Ax & Apple: "I can't wait for women's boxing. Not only will it be the first year women will be fighting at the Olympics, but Claressa Shields will be the youngest to compete. She's only 17—I'm really rooting for her."

Susan Domelsmith, Dirty Librarian Chains: "The floor gymnastics is my favorite to watch because it is silly and creative without the breath-holding stress that other sports like the uneven parallel bars or racing have."
