We're Loving: Burnt-Fringe Jewelry from Iosselliani

Fine jewelry designers, Roberta Paolucci and Paolo Giacomelli, have been creating covetable, classic-yet-experimental pieces for over a decade, even collaborating with the likes of Missoni and Alessandro Dell'Acqua on their jewelry collections. How is it, then, that their label, Iosselliani, only recently came on our radar?

Not that we're complaining, but we would have been saving for one of their phenomenal burnt--or, technically speaking, "partially oxidized"--gold fringe necklaces. There's something rather seductive and "Queen of the Nile" about the whole Iosselliani aesthetic, from the exotic, drippy-gold collars festooned with slices of jade and turquoise, to the more simple (by comparison) eagle talismans and bejeweled earrings. We can imagine someone with a tendency towards the outrageous--like Lady Gaga, say--sporting the label's spectacular gold coil earrings, which look like long locks of hair from a distance. As for us, we're picking out a few tops that would benefit from a spiffy new collar.
